Team Sadler were thrilled to have a day out at Mornington last Sunday with two Legend Racing horses saluting at the metropolitan meeting. The 3YO Colt by Zoustar, Starry Legend kicked off his preparation in winning style in the BM70 over 1000m making his career performances stand at 3 wins from 4 starts. The team have always had a very high opinion of this Colt and he certainly hasn’t disappointed. “He had a really good blow after the race which is fantastic knowing how much improvement he’ll take from this race into his next start,” co-trainer, Tom Sadler said.
Another 3YO Colt this time by Shalaa (IRE), Cheerful Legend was very impressive in the BM70 over 1200m. Likewise, Tom was full of praise for his win. “We are very excited to see what he can do with an impressive win like that under his belt with more improvement to come,” Tom said after the race.
Congratulations to Mr Ho, who purchased both horses at the 2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.
